How to integrate Onward with Gorgias

Overview

Onward makes it easy for you to help your customers resolve shipping issues. Usually your customers will contact our team directly to start a claim request. But if your customer reaches out to your team first, this integration lets you easily create reorder requests and refunds on behalf of your customer.

You will see a sidebar widget for orders where you'll be able to tell if the order is protected by Onward. Then with the simple click of a button, you'll be able to open up a claim in seconds.

From there, our team will reach out to your customer and resolve their shipping issue just as if the customer had reached out to us.

Setup

1. The Shopify integration only works with merchants who have installed the Onward VIP Protection+ app
2. Install the Onward VIP Protection+ app on Gorgias
3. You will see a widget in the sidebar for your orders with the ability to create a claim for protected orders

1. Click on "File A Claim" to open up the claim portal. All of the order information will already be prefilled.
