1. Under sales channel, select online store

  2. Select “customize” button under current theme

  3. Choose “checkout” from dropdown at the top of the page

    1. For multi-page checkouts you can also select the specific checkout page (i.e. shipping)

  4. Click “add app block” in bottom left if Onward is not already added to checkout

  5. Select Onward from apps to add

  6. Click and drag Onward to underneath shipping section

  7. Click Onward app block

  8. Check “enable for shop pay” checkbox

Optional: Add remove link widget in order summary

  1. Add widget under “Items in cart”
  2. Leave other widget under shipping section

Adding this under “items in cart” will allow the user to remove Onward from within their order summary.

The pink is where you add the Onward app block under to show the “remove” link, the blue is the old default on widget placement. This will ONLY add the remove link, It does not include any other functionality.
